Who I Am

I am a music composer who is comfortable in a wide variety of styles and genres, but focuses on a cinematic, modern orchestral style. I have written music for video games, movies, musicals, and more. My bombastic walls of sound, intricate rhythmic passages, and unconventional harmonies give my music a distinct sound and a surge of power.

Orchestral music is an old art, but game and film composer Andrew Alford is putting his own modern twist on the genre.

Andrew was born on April 8th, 2002 in Connecticut, and has recently moved to Los Angeles. Using music softwares Logic Pro X and MuseScore, he writes music that is accessible to anyone but is enjoyed particularly by fans of film and game music. He has written for video games, movies, and musicals. Andrew is fluent in a wide variety of musical genres and styles, but he has a particular fondness for cinematic orchestral works. His music often has a larger-than-life sound, such as in “Hellbeast.” However, his music can also have a sweeter, more emotional sound, such as in “What We Left Behind.” Andrew has big projects on the way, such as his debut album, “Redemption”.
